In order for the activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day in 2022 to be effective and practical, in order to praise and honor the contingent of science and technology staff; propagating and widely disseminating scientific and technological achievements for the country's development, raising society's awareness of the role of science and technology, the Presidium of the Central Council of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations propose the implementation and organization of science and technology events in localities and units suitable to the practical conditions of each unit. Activities focus on some content.
Firstly, organize information and communication activities, disseminate legal knowledge on science and technology, and the role of science and technology in the socio-economic development of the country. Launch emulation movement, scientific research, promote technical improvement initiatives among researchers; launching a movement to improve productivity and quality in enterprises.
Along with that, the Union proposed to organize a series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day such as: cultural and sports exchange programs; meeting program between S&T managers, scientists and students, students, inventors in the province, centrally-run city; organize exhibitions of scientific research results and useful initiatives of young research groups at S&T organizations; commend or propose competent authorities to reward excellent collectives and individuals who have made great contributions to the development of science and technology of ministries, branches and localities.
Organize a meeting between leaders of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies attached to the Government, provinces and centrally-run cities with leading intellectuals, professors, sub-scientists, scientists talented young people in their respective industries, fields and localities.
